I have a question. I’m thinking about getting into the program and I need to know what to do and what not to do after I am licensed. I’m a veteran of the Marines and the Army and I think my training would help me attain this goal. I just don’t want to get screwed in the process.

    Thanks

I am recently licensed in the state of Washington and am just getting started. Any ideas on how to approach the bondsman regarding getting his work?

I’m going into a bail academy in Las Vegas, NV and I want to know as a new ‘rookie agent’, what type of ‘expenses’ can I claim and get paid for after I apprehend a fugitive. With the economy being so tight and gas prices going up, I need to know what I can stipulate on my contract with any bail agency since I’ve got a family to support, they rely on me 100% to pay all the bills.

I currently charge 10% of the bond but also seize the collateral for the bondsman so I assist in the whole process.
