Subject: regarding some articles

Hello,

I have read your magazine and some of the information is of interest, but other parts seem to be dreams of someone that have not been in this business long.

I have been involved in Bail Recovery since 1984 and have seen this "let's be understanding with the subject" being taken into custody. When I am doing bail recovery there is no glory and there is no back up like swat and your badge for some reason you guys think is real. Most know you are just a bounty hunters and do not have the protection as if you are a police officer.

As for the bad mouth, when someone is calling all the bad names and you are just allowing him to get steam of his chest, you will find that the subject will do this so they can think about what they want to do next, you are just standing there wondering about him having a bad day.

It seems that you or most have not been through a police academy.

That is about the stupidest thing I ever heard, when a subject starts that he is taken down. Period.

About ethics in bail recovery, what ethics are you talking about. I am going to give you a sample of what a bondsman said on a forum, saying they represent themselves as IRS, INDOT and attorney so I guess this is ethics. You will find this below after my signature

As for business in the bail business is all about money, get your subject back into custody as cheap as possible. If I make the bail bondsman money he makes me money, pretty much that simple.

I appreciate that everyone is on a band wagon to make this industry something it is really not and that is this guys are not cops, period and it is not like law enforcement and most of the guys and PI  get into this business that want to carry a badge a think they are someone they are not.

I started in this business in the early 80's for money period, I had cops on payroll because they would only make about 100.00 a day and with me they would make sometimes 500 a day. We did not wear badges and still to this day I do not wear a badge, I do not look like I am from swat with all that bullshit they sell on the Internet.

I wear a Hawaiian shirt a gun and a ID, that's it and I do fine without all that trouble, another thing why go into a house makes no sense, other then feeling like you are the cops. I always say a dog bits harder in it's yard then another.

I have seen the last couple of years about training, books on bounty hunting and several TV shows. And it has brought about every nut I know into this business from ex cops to want to be cops, even the security are happy we have taken the attention from them with regards to the cops.

I can tell someone how to get started, make money and save your ass in this business in 2 pages, the problem is it would most likely effect the guys that sell books and make people unhappy that want to think they are federal agents or the marshals by carrying a badge.

I have not checked spelling or grammar, to late at this time. But I think point is made.

So I guess this is ethics?? so committing a fedral crime in pretexting. interesting. This was sent on the forum that I am sure you have seen:

Depending on the time of year, I have been the IRS, INDOT, Old friend, Account Manager for Credit card company, Attorney with $$ for them, Unclaimed Property Agent, basically anything that has $$ for the Defendant involved. My female agents have been ex lovers wanting to reunite, etc. Usually I use a female operative in doing this kind of work because of the whole "commonality of sisterhood " thing. Background is essential at the initial contact phase of the investigation. what do I know about the person I am after? Alot of the time, there is a hook in the $$ dept. Remember, everything comes back to Sex or $$. Does that help?

Subject: [tracer] Employment Pretext

Hello Group,

Does anyone have a good pretext when calling friends/relatives when trying to locate a person's current place of employment?

Thanks,
