Is it worth spending the money to belong to the various PI associations?
This is one question I have been grappling with. Perhaps you could put the same question out to the readers.
The cost of membership in many of the associations is (for the lack of a better word) overwhelming!. An example is $195.00 per year to belong to my own state association, CALI . It is money I truly can not afford. It is just NOT in the budget. I tried it last year only to discover that it cost me well over $500.00 with the cost of gas, time, and in one instance a hotel room. Just to attend a meeting!
Yes, Networking is all important but at what cost?
Help me with this.
