In Memory Of Mark Cavendish

Mark Cavendish of Southern Arizona Bail Enforcement in Tucson, Arizona unexpectedly passed away on Saturday, September 6, 2008.
Mark, once a student of ours, excelled and became a well respected fugitive recovery agent in Arizona.
He was a member of the National Surety Investigators Network (NSIN) and 2 years ago, to the day, he sent me this text, “Thank you for the training Scott. I’m having a lot of fun. I should have done this 20 years ago. Just so you know, your program and this job have changed my life… you have the heroes of tomorrow.” I was deeply touched by his words in that message.
It’s decidedly been a pleasure watching him become an outstanding bail enforcement agent, entrepreneur, a mentor to others and a wonderful friend to us all. He will be deeply missed in our community.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family, friends and co-workers.
May you rest in peace Mark…I will miss your friendship.

Mark Cavendish was my best friend in our last year of high school. I’m bordering on being hysterical right now. Can you please email me back and tell me what happened to him? OMG… This news just has me stunned.
