		<description>Pursuant to your article dated April 15, 2009 regarding the Louisiana Anti-Caller ID Spoofing Act, I am writing to advise you that the Louisiana Private Investigators Association (LPIA) is working hard within the legislature at this time to add an amendment which would exempt licensed private investigators from SB 29.  The bill is pending a vote in the senate this week with the amendment being proposed from the senate floor.  Thanks for bringing this issue to private investigators.
