I can probably count on two hands how many times I had to physically make and effort to "show the badge", I preferred not to because that would usually escalate a situation. Success of an apprehension is in the agents approach, presence, and verbiage, not in a piece of metal. Sometimes its not always wise to take the bull by its horns!! Good story!
