Mark Cavendish of Southern Arizona Bail Enforcement in Tucson, Arizona unexpectedly passed away on Saturday, September 6, 2008.
Mark, once a student of ours, excelled and became a well respected fugitive recovery agent in Arizona. He was a member of the National Surety Investigators Network (NSIN) and 2 years ago, to the day, he sent me this text, “Thank you for the training Scott. I’m having a lot of fun. I should have done this 20 years ago. Just so you know, your program and this job have changed my life… you have the heroes of tomorrow.” I was deeply touched by his words in that message.
It’s decidedly been a pleasure watching him become an outstanding bail enforcement agent, entrepreneur, a mentor to others and a wonderful friend to us all. He will be deeply missed in our community.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family, friends and co-workers.
May you rest in peace Mark…I will miss your friendship.
